This is the best of about 12 different tinted moisturizers and foundations I've tried. All had to have a very high SPF to be considered. I have pink or rosy undertones which has been a bear to match. I'd never heard of this brand but so very glad I took a chance on it. I think the color I ordered was Light. I've avoided foundation all my life and that is a long, long time. The high SPF sold it. It goes on smoothly with a damp make up sponge. Have yet to try a brush. The finish seems matte to me but I defer to others who know more about foundation than I. I have redness over the apples of my cheeks and have been using a green corrector to tone that down. This works just as well if not better and has the benefits of the high SPF. I think it looks pretty natural. My skin doesn't look dead or flat like with a full coverage foundation. I'm not into the "dewy" or shiny or glass look so the matte finish is perfect for me. Price is very reasonable compared to some of the higher end products I tried from Ulta and Sephora.
